Release and Re-Commit

Fasten your seat belts, Cosmic Collective! Trailing the conjunction of Uranus and Jupiter in Taurus, the full moon in Scorpio peaks on Tuesday, April 23, 2024, at 7:49 PM EST. Great big supportive energy, right here, right now. Time to shed those limiting beliefs and embrace your personal power for the collective good. That’s the gist. That, and as each of us grows personally, we ignite shifts in unity consciousness. Win-Win! And with Earth Day in the mix, it can’t hurt to touch that baby with your beautiful bare feet, stretch out under the spacious sky on your substrate of choice, and wiggle your fingers in some dirt.

And how else can we create the grounding and release? So many ways.

Check out these powerful three…

~ Ground in self-love and self-care.

~ Clear stagnation and blockages. Let go of long-standing habits and patterns.

~ Rediscover your passion. Awaken your gifts. Re-commit.

Now, let’s put these ideas into creative practice. This will take less than 30 minutes of your time to set up.

Creativity Prompts

~ Self-love. Caring for the mind, body, and soul helps melt fear and a sense of isolation. Self-love opens the heart to compassion. Make a list of FIVE things you know you love and, literally, schedule them into your calendar. I’m not going to tell you what they are. But I do know, getting them on the books and treating them like it's your job might actually make it happen. FIVE things, FIVE days. Why not make it one thing each day, Monday-Friday? One of my favorite things is spending the first fifteen minutes of my waking hour in my backyard with the genius of the Merlin app. This magical microphone in the palm of my hand tells me which birds are cohabiting in my little patch of paradise on the planet. How fun to think of walking the daily path with such a wide variety of these feathery light beings. I schedule my Merlin time right into my phone calendar. Voila!

~ Letting go. Once you begin to show a little more R-E-S-P-E-C-T for your everyday brilliance, letting go of the ICK is so much easier. But let’s not make it into a great big woe-is-me deal out of it. We don’t have time for that. The astrology of this time is here to support you. We can trust it. Grab a standard piece of paper and draw ten circular bubbles of many shapes and sizes. Think of 10 things off the top of your head that you don’t want to give any more power to and write each one into the bubble that seems right proportionally. Fun, fun, fun! Take a screenshot of that. Then release it in whatever you choose. Some like fire, some like water, some like earth, some like air. So rip, snip, burn, bury, or drown to let that paper go. (If letting go is hard for you as much as it is for me, remember, you still have that screenshot. How exciting to be to check back in on these bubbles to see what’s going, going, gone.)

~ Power to passion. This last one is simple and fun. Remember what it is you love to create the most and how you love to go about doing it and get started. Dust off that journal. Get back into that short story collection. Bust out those watercolors or collage papers your best friend gave you for your birthday three years ago. Shop for colorful veggies at the Coop and build brilliant spring bounty plates for you and your loved ones for dinner. Plant peas and carrots, radishes and beets, and don’t forget the nasturtiums, and how they pop your garden with oranges, yellows, reds, and peach. With each seed, plant an intention for peace and prosperity, equity and love.

Whatever it is you haven’t been doing but have been missing, fall back in love. Do it to fund Kundalini Energy for the good of all! When you’re open and creating, you’re igniting energies that ripple out to support the greater good.

Remember, allowing and allotting time for your self-care is NOT a selfish act. It’s a radical and revolutionary act. Mind-blowing!
